2 Eagles With Double Doubles Not Enough

Despite placing 3 players, Sophomores Robbie Wainio (13 points), Kyle Brown (19 points/ 11 rebounds) and Sean Wickham (24 points/ 13 Rebounds) in double figures, the latter 2 with Double Doubles, the Emory-Oxford Eagles dropped a 1 point contest at Emmanuel College.
The Eagles were efficient at the free throw Line converting 15 of 16 attempts. However, the turnover bug continued to plague Oxford and 9 missed layups were their undoing even though both teams finished with 28 field goals apiece. Oxford actually won the 2nd Half by 6 with another Sophomore, Tombari George-Komi, helping lead the way with 5 assists.
