Despite placing 4 Eagles in double figures and outscoring Georgia Gwinnett in the 2nd Half, Oxford College dropped an 83-76 decision at home Monday night.
It was a poor shooting night from the field and 24 turnovers didn't help. Seemed each time the Eagles made a run they hampered it with an untimely mistake. Down 10 points at the half, 2 Sophomores, Sean Wickham 24 points and 14 rebounds along with Kyle Brown's 22 points, tried to lead the Eagles back in the 2nd half. With two big 3 pointers from Ryan Kwong, but only 3 total for the team, it just wasn't going to be enough this night.
Oxford College is back in action at Lagrange College next Tuesday January 28th. Tipoff is set for 8pm.
