OXFORD, GA. – Oxford's season ended with an 50 to 44 loss to Southern Crescent Technical College in the semi-finals of the GCAA tournament on Saturday.
"We played a tough competitive game today and just came up a little short," commented head coach Roderick Stubbs. "Southern Crescent is a good basketball team with a great coach. I am proud of our guys."
Sophomore Sean Wickham had a game-high 13 points in his final Oxford game. Wickham finished his career with 783 points, good for 7th on the school's career points list. Kyle Brown contributed 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assist in his final game for the Eagles.
The Eagles ended the season 12-18.
