Men's Basketball Wins Second Straight Behind Hardin's Career-High
The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team won their second straight against the Lions of Piedmont University Reserve Squad. Sophomore Nick Hardin led the Eagles with 25 points in the 71-58 victory.
Hardin finished with a double-double securing ten rebounds and dishing out four assists. Classmate Isaac Snyder also produced a double-double, recording 12 points and ten rebounds. Sophomore KJ Walker had a productive night with 11 points, five assists and four rebounds.
Game Facts:
- The Eagles shot 40.6% (28-of-69) from the field while holding the Lions to 29.5% (24-of-83), including only 1-of-25 from behind the arc.
- Oxford dished out 18 assists on 28 made field goals while taking care of the basketball, only turning the ball over eight times.
The Eagles improve to 5-2 for the season and look ahead to Saturday as they face Southern Crescent Technical College at home. Tipoff is set for 3:00 pm.
