Men's Basketball Opens Up New Year with a Win
The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team opened the new year strong, defeating Deep South by a score of 82-74.
Oxford had four players in double figures and was carried by its sophomore backcourt duo, KJ Walker and Sean Osei. Walker played 35 minutes, tallying 24 points and eight rebounds. Osei added 19 points for the Eagles.
Not to be outdone, sophomore forward Isaac Snyder notched his fourth straight double-double and his ninth of the season with 14 points, ten rebounds, and three blocks. Sophomore wing Justin Whitening contributed 13 points and six rebounds, while classmate Nick Hardin finished with 8 points, six assists, and five rebounds.
