Men's Basketball Bounces Back; Defeats Stormy Petrels 84-72
The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team returned on the winning track Monday afternoon, defeating the Stormy Petrels of Oglethorpe University Reserve Squad 84-72.
The Eagles had five sophomores in double figures, led by Isaac Snyder, who recorded his third-straight double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Justin Whitening scored a career-high 18 points while securing seven rebounds. KJ Walker had a solid night with 15 points, including 3-of-6 from behind the three-point line. Nick Hardin contributed 13 points, while Sean Osei filled up the stat sheet with 11 points, ten rebounds and six assists. Osei and Walker led the Eagles with six assists each.
