Men's Basketball Falls to #2 Sandhills in Conference Play

The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team opened up conference play against the 2nd-ranked team in the nation, Sandhills Community College. The Eagles would lose to the Flyers, 104-77. 

Oxford saw four players in double figures, led by sophomore Sean Osei, who had 16 points, including three 3-pointers. Freshman Zuri Greene scored a career-high 14 points to go along with four rebounds. Sophomores Justin Whitening and Isaac Snyder each had 13 and 11 points. 

Key Stats:

• The Eagles turned the ball over 20 times, leading to 28 points for the Flyers.
• Oxford's bench was outscored 64-20. 

The Eagles, now 9-7, will look to bounce back tomorrow, January 22nd, when they play at Central Carolina Community College. The game will tip off at 1:00 pm.
