Men's Basketball Downs Reinhardt, 91-79
The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team won their 10th game of the season against Reinhardt University Reserve Squad, 91-79. The Eagles had five sophomores score in double figures in this high-scoring affair.
Sean Osei led the way with 24 points and six rebounds. Osei also had a team-high six assists and six steals. Justin Whitening scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds along the way. KJ Walker had a productive night with 12 points, three assists and two rebounds. Nick Hardin had 11 points and six rebounds, while Isaac Snyder produced 10 points and three rebounds.
Oxford came out hot in the first half at one pointing holding a 51-21 lead over Reinhardt. They shot an impressive 51.2% (21-of-41) in the first half, including 5-of-10 from three. This proved too difficult for Reinhardt to overcome, as they tried to mount a comeback in the second half.
