Men's Basketball Falls to Cougars, 80-69.
The Oxford College of Emory University men's basketball team fell to Central Carolina Community College by a score of 80-69 on Saturday afternoon.
The loss dampened what was otherwise a day of celebration, as Oxford honored a large group of sophomores from the varsity basketball team, cheerleading squad, and student manager team. The Eagles fell to 14-12 for the season with the defeat.
A trio of sophomores paced the Eagles, led by Isaac Snyder with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Guard KJ Walker contributed 15 points, three assists, and three steals, while backcourt mate Sean Osei poured in 14 points.

- Oxford shot just 32.3% from the field and 16.7% from three (5-30)
- CCCC shot an efficient 54.7% from the field, including 69% on two-point field goals (20-29).
- The Eagles notched 12 assists on 20 made baskets and committed only eight turnovers.
Oxford will be back in action on Monday, February 20th against Deep South Academy. This will be the Eagles' final home game of the season, and will tip-off at 7:00. Oxford will head to the campus of Central Carolina next weekend to begin conference tournament play.
