Desai named Player of the Week; men's basketball ranked

Sophomore Ved Desai was named NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the final week of January.

Desai had a huge game against then-ranked No. 11 Sandhills Community College on Friday, Jan. 23. He scored a career-high 38 points, including six 3-pointers. During the game, he also had four rebounds and three blocks.

So far this season, Desai led the Eagles with 391 total points. He also has 149 rebounds and 36 assists.

In addition, the men's basketball team is currently ranked No. 17 in NJCAA Division III.
