Pinehurst, NC - The Emory Oxford men's basketball team defeated conference team Camp Community College 73-62 on the road.
Both teams played evenly during the first half, with the Eagles building a small lead.
The second half was all Oxford. At one point toward the end of the half, the Eagles had a 19 point lead.
In the win, sophomore Ved Desai scored 25 points, including five three-pointers. He also had seven rebounds. First-year Asa Beckett scored a career-high 11 points. Beckett went a perfect 5-for-5 in field goals made and also had one three-pointer. Sophomore Jason Kim had nine points and five assists. First-year Alex Straser had nine points and made three three-pointers.
The Eagles play in their final game of the regular season on Sunday, February 15 at noon against Community Christian College of Georgia.
