Warner Robbins, Ga. - First-year Zach Seneriz scored three goals as the Emory Oxford men's soccer team won handily 8-1 against Central Georgia Technical College.
Seneriz scored his first goal 16 minutes into the game with an assist from sophomore Onemeh Erakpotobor. Seneriz scored again six minutes later and assisted on a sophomore Evan Crozier goal five minutes after.
The fourth and final goal for the half was scored by sophomore Andrey Kosygin and assisted by sophomore Brody Weinfurtner.
In the second half, the Eagles scored three goals in the span of about 10 minutes. Seneriz scored first with an assist from first-year Eli Willingham. Sophomore Nathaniel Green scored his first goal for Emory Oxford off of a free kick for the sixth goal of the game. Weinfurtner scored soon after, assisted by first-year Elijah Miller.
First-year Neal Konganda scored in the final minutes of the game to bring the goal total to eight.
Sophomore Chris Do started the game for the Eagles and made two saves. First-year Brendan Zelikoff played the final 20 minutes and allowed Central Georgia's only goal of the game. He made zero saves.
Emory Oxford's record now sits at 3-5-1. The team is currently on a three-game winning streak. The Eagles next face Pellissippi State at home on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Game time is 7 p.m.
