Warner Robbins, Ga. - Sophomore Zachary Seneriz scored three goals as the Emory Oxford men's soccer team defeated Central Georgia Technical College on the road by a score of 4-3.
Seneriz broke the tie 30 minutes into the game with an assist from fellow sophomore Neal Konganda.
The second half was action-packed with six goals being scored, three by each time. Seneriz scored twice within two minutes early in the half to put the Eagles up 3-0. First-year Ethan Zelig assisted on the second goal and first-year Cade Stone assisted on the third.
Central Georgia was able to tie the game by scoring three times in 25 minutes. With the game looking like it would end in a tie, sophomore Eli Willingham scored with two minutes remaining to secure the victory for Emory Oxford.
Seneriz led the team with nine shots on goal. Sophomore Brendan Zelikoff made six saves in goal.
The Eagles next play Pellissippi State Community College on the road at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.
