Oxford, Ga. - The Emory Oxford men's soccer team fell to Wallace State Community College-Hanceville on Sophomore Night 4-2.
The Eagles scored the first goal of the game as sophomore Avi Miller connected with classmate Arjun Pant for Pant's first goal of the season. Wallace State scored the next three goals in the first to take a 3-1 lead into halftime.
Pant scored again less than ten minutes into the second half. Sophomore Eli Willingham assisted on the play. Wallace State scored once more before the end of the game to secure the win.
Sophomore Brendan Zelikoff made three saves in goal, while first-year Vaden Tekkam made eight saves in relief.
Oxford will next face Georgia Military College on Friday, Oct. 24 at 5 p.m. in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association semifinals.
