Men's cross country wins GCAA championship
Huntsville, AL - For the fourth year in a row, the Emory Oxford men's cross country team won the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Regional Championship. This year's race was held on Friday, Oct. 25 at John Hunt Cross Country Park. The Eagles finished with 17 points.
Oxford took the first four spots in the race. First-year David Henri won the men's race with a time of 28:25.79 and was named to the All-Region Team. First-years James Wang (29:11.87), Tejin Mehta (30:24.00) and sophomore Max Sausen (30:25.11) were the next finishers.
First-year Demir Dilici and sophomores Sam Birkner and Derek Fusco also ran for the Eagles.
In addition to Henri, Wang, Mehta and Sausen were named to the All-Region Team.
