Women's golf competes at NJCAA nationals
Chautauqua, NY - Three women's golfers competed at the 2026 NJCAA DIII Women's Golf National Championship, held from June 2-5. The championship was held at Chautauqua Golf Club, a par-72, 5127-yard course in western New York.
First-year Sarah Wang finished second, the highest place for a women's golfer in Oxford's history at nationals. Wang shot a 79 in her first three rounds and a 78 on the final round for an overall total of 315. Classmate Shivi Vidjearadji also did well, finishing fourth. Vidjearadji finished strong in the last two rounds, shooting a 79 in the third round and an 81 in the fourth for an overall total of 334.
Wang and Vidjearadji were both named All-Americans for their finishes.
Also competing for the Eagles was first-year Gyanna Gao.
