Tennis faces Piedmont University

Demorest, Ga. - The Emory Oxford tennis teams faced Piedmont University on the road. The women dominated, winning 7-2 over the home team.

Sophomores Olha Los and Lily Liu won first doubles 8-5. The two also won their singles matches. Liu defeated her opponent 6-3, 6-2, while Los won in the third set 3-6, 6-3, 2-10.

In second doubles, sophomore Marie Chastel and first-year Chloe Macaluso teamed up to defeat their opponents 8-5. In singles, Chastel played third singles and won 6-2, 6-2. Macaluso easily won 6-0, 6-0. First-year Samantha Goldberg won her singles match 6-3, 6-0.

For the men, first-year Neeraj Madamalla was the only winner for the Eagles. He defeated his opponent 6-3, 6-3.
