Cross country competes at USC Upstate
Spartanburg, S.C. - The men's and women's cross country teams competed at the USC Upstate Invite against NCAA and NAIA schools.
For the women, sophomore Christina Tsarampari was the first Oxford finisher (24.24.9). Sophomore Indiana Smith-Incer was not far behind (24.48.7). Sophomores Giana Jung and Ella Bjorkman also ran for the Eagles.
On the men's side, first-year David Henri was the top finisher for Oxford (28:21.5). First-year James Wang was next (29:31.9), followed by first-year Tejin Mehta (31:09.3). First-year Max Sausen and sophomores Sam Birkner and Derek Fusco also ran for the Eagles.
Next for Oxford is the GCAA Regional Championships on Friday, Oct. 24.
