The Emory Oxford men's soccer team won their second straight game defeating Andrew College 6-2 on Tuesday evening.
Sophomore Ryan Scholte led the Eagles with two goals, one in each half.
The Fighting Tigers of Andrew College opened things up with a goal in the 13th minute of the game. However, the Eagles would answer a minute later with a goal by freshman Will Farthing, his second of the year. The Eagles would gain the lead in the 17th minute when Scholte scored his first goal, sixth of the season, with the assist coming from classmate Ashwin Giri. The Fighting Tigers would tie things back up with a goal a minute later. Emory Oxford would regain the lead before halftime when sophomore Alex Brown found classmate Maxwell Shumway who netted his first goal of the season.
After the break, the Eagles would continue on the attack scoring a flurry of goals to build their lead. Scholte would score his second goal of the game in the 42nd minute, this time assisted by sophomore Carl Kassabian. Eight minutes later, freshman Jisung Yoon would get into the action scoring his second of the year with an assist from fellow freshman Haensel Kehoe. Giri would score the final goal of the game in the 75th minute.
